Edgewater is seeking qualified candidates for an Administrative Specialist (Employee Concerns) opportunity for our customer in Carlsbad, NM to support the WIPP Facility.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Summary:

Admin in the Employee Concerns Program office. Will be required to interface with all departments within NWP, as well as with the customer. The nature of the work in ECP is extremely confidential and the candidate must be aware that sharing any information that they have access to is not to be shared with anyone, that includes internal or external sources.

Job Duties are not inclusive:

• Administrative duties, including scheduling meetings in Outlook, typing investigation notes and reports, assisting as a witness during the internal investigation process.
• Work on confidential Employee Concerns Program logs and files.
• Use Excel spreadsheets to prepare reports due to the customer (DOE).
• Will be required to travel to the WIPP site to assist the ECP manager with internal investigations conducted on-site.
• Good verbal and written communication skills required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent with 4 years admin or Associate with 2 years admin.

Experience:

• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong confidentiality skills
• Strong interface skills, oral and written communications, and the ability to work well with others
• Organizational skills
