Who You Are:
We are currently searching for an HR Generalist that will focus on employee relations, employee engagement and development to join our HR team. This is an on-site role that will be responsible for employee relations and investigations, performance and talent management, training and development, compensation, recognition, morale, and occupational health and safety.What You'll Do:In this role you will be able to jump in and start making an immediate impact. Specifically, you'll:
- First and foremost, resonate with our guiding principles and mission as an organization
- Utilize your 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment along with your Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in HR or related field (HRCI or SHRM certification a plus!) to contribute to the success of the HR department
- Build trust with employees and managers by resolving complex employee relations issues and conducting and leading effective, thorough, objective investigations and participating in employee disciplinary meetings and separations
- Utilize excellent interpersonal communication skills to work collaboratively with leaders with performance management guidance regarding coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions
- As a people developer, facilitate professional development training and certification activities for all staff which may include anti-harassment, safety, leadership development, and professional development
- Be a talent ambassador by participating in the evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success which includes reviewing and tracking document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, tracking educational grants, continuing education, work assessments, safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications
- Conduct new hire orientation and facilitate employee recognition programs to build morale and increase productivity and retention
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law
