  • Deployed Services is currently hiring an Employee Relations Specialist (Investigator) to handle workplace concerns, policy violations, and legal issues. As an Employee Relations Specialist, you will closely collaborate with site business leadership and HR Generalists to develop effective strategies and action plans that align with our business objectives while maintaining our culture and values.     Responsibilities:

    • Support and uphold the organization's mission, values, and culture through effective communication.
    • Partner with management to achieve goals at the site, departmental, and corporate levels.
    • Conduct fair and timely investigations into policy or legal violations, ensuring equal treatment for all employees.
    • Manage the investigation process, including document review, interviews, reporting findings, and identifying trends.
    • Collaborate with third-party resources for digital forensics, investigations, and document reviews, while overseeing document collection, analysis, and review.

    Required Skills:

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software, preferably experience with ADP Workforce Now or UKG.
    • Familiarity with legal discovery software, case management systems, and knowledge of U.S. employment laws.
    • Strong report-writing skills to produce clear and concise investigative reports.
    • Expertise in analyzing, organizing, and preserving evidence, and identifying trends for collaboration with HR Generalists and business partners.
    • Experience in training HR colleagues and field operations personnel.
    • Ability to handle multiple complex investigations concurrently, demonstrate emotional intelligence, address difficult information and findings, and work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
    • Availability to work nights and weekends due to our 24/7/365 operations.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in employee relations, human resources, business management, or a related field. Master’s degree in an investigations-related field is preferred.
    • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience conducting internal workplace investigations in various settings.
    • Experience in conducting corporate investigative fieldwork, including interviews, data analysis, and producing investigative documentation for court submissions.
    • Knowledge and experience in various HR subject areas such as harassment, discrimination, fraud, and employee relations in skilled trade-based environments.
    • Experience testifying before administrative bodies or in courts. Organizational experience in government contracting environments is preferred. Familiarity with Collective Bargaining Agreements and Service Contract Act (SCA) is highly desirable

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
