WHAT YOU'LL DO:
The Employee Relations Specialist will play a crucial role in fostering a positive relationship between the organization and its employees. You will handle employee grievances, conflicts and support and ensure that employee relations issues are handled effectively and in compliance with company policies and legal standards.

Compensation Dependent Upon Experience -
$70,720.00 - $92,560.00 Yearly

Requirements
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
The successful candidate will be willing and able to:
- Act as the primary point of contact for addressing employee concerns, complaints, and conflicts.
- Conduct thorough investigations into employee grievances and disciplinary issues, maintaining confidentiality and impartiality throughout the process.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on matters related to performance management, conflict resolution, and workplace behavior
- Stay updated on relevant employment laws and regulations to ensure company policies and practices remain compliant.
- Assist in developing, implementing, and communicating HR policies and procedures to ensure consistency and fairness across the organization.
- Conduct training sessions for managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Collaborate with HR, legal and key stakeholders to develop and implement initiatives aimed at improving employee engagement, morale, and retention.
- Assist with conducting employee surveys, analyze feedback, and recommend action plans to address areas for improvement.
- Collaborate in the development and organization of employee recognition programs and events to celebrate achievements and promote a positive work culture.
- Monitor and analyze employee relations trends to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions.
- Support managers in the performance evaluation process, providing guidance on goal-setting, feedback delivery, and performance improvement plans.
- Assist in resolving performance-related issues through coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee relations activities, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and resolutions.
- Prepare reports and presentations for management review, highlighting trends, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.
The successful candidate has:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Sociology or related field preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Human Resources functions including experience performing investigations
- Proven knowledge of federal, state and local labor and employment laws
- A track record of establishing strong alliances with all levels of management while retaining independence of thought
- Experience working with multinational and culturally diverse workforce
- Experience with rapid growth and a changing work environment
- Computer literate and technically savvy
- Experience with Community Healthcare Clinics or Healthcare preferred
Additional Requirements
- Must have a current and valid California driver’s license and the ability to provide proof of personal auto insurance on the vehicle driven during working hours.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment
The work environment is characteristic of normal office conditions.
