    As the HR Employee Relations Specialist you will be working in an office based setting within our HR department located in Mt. Holly, Burlington County NJ.

    Schedule: Full-time; Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, One hour unpaid lunch; ability to work on a hybrid schedule

    Competencies:

    Possess an in-depth knowledge of current local, state and federal laws pertaining to employment policies and best practices; ability to assess evidence and arrive at a fair conclusion. Must also possess the ability to proofread; strong interpersonal and organizational skills; ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing; ability to work well within a culturally diverse environment with the ability to handle all situations with diplomacy, tact and confidentiality. Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with various completion dates, must be self-directed with the ability to work independently. Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite preferred.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provides guidance and counsel to mgt. and employees regarding employee relations matters, assuring legal compliance under the supervision of the Employee Relations Manager;
    • Reviews employment records to determine the appropriateness of proposed disciplinary action and compliance with policies and applicable laws and report findings;
    • Investigates labor relations issues and complaints, assists with the preparation of appropriate responses and resolving issues;
    • Tracks all complaints, investigations and disciplinary actions;
    • Conducts interviews of complainants, witnesses and respondents; maintains positive employee relations atmosphere by responding to employee’s concerns, addressing issues proactively and advising management; resolves conflict between employees and mgt. to prevent future difficulties;
    • Ensures HR compliance with state licensing requirements;
    • Assists with HR functions as needed from on-boarding, licensing compliance, conflict resolution, etc.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:


    • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Human Resources or High School Diploma with PHR.
    • Three (3) years employee relations experience required;
    • Experience and/ or knowledge of Ulti-Pro/UKG or Essential Learning a plus;
    • Certificate in Investigations a plus;
    • Valid Driver's License required
