Employee Relocation Manager manages the employee relocation process, which may include but is not limited to sale of current residence, lease cancellation, home purchase or rental, realtor selection, mortgage assistance, and movement of household goods. Establishes, implements, and maintains policies and practices for assisting employees and their families as they relocate. Being an Employee Relocation Manager works to minimize relocation costs and disruption of work for the employee and the organization. Approves relocation budgets and plans and the disbursement of funds. Additionally, Employee Relocation Manager typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Employee Relocation Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions.     Responsibilities:
    This person would be responsible for 

    • Writing and distributing a robust weekly newsletter for approximately 15,000 North America employees, with excellence in proofreading for accuracy.
    • Continuous content management of North America news for intranet  
    • Compiling and analyzing recurring reports that measure effectiveness of communication pieces
    • Collaboration with team members across the organization to support and highlight employee communication initiatives
    • Proficient and frequent use of Poppulo tool (mass email distribution tool) in distributing messages to 15,000 employees
    • Support future launch of new intranet platform and partnering with IT post launch on intranet initiatives
    • Promotion of activities and events to increase employee engagement

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree required; preference for major in English, journalism, corporate communications, public relations, marketing or related field of study
    • Approximately 5 years of communications experience in any setting
    • Experience using intranet content management systems
    • Skilled in working with Office 365 products and applications
    • Skilled in using mass email communications tool like Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Poppulo
    • Possess a high standard of excellence, including an eye for detail and a desire for perfection; demonstration of editorial excellence; passion for writing; and willingness to learn from other creative professionals.
    • Strong project management skills that include management of multiple projects simultaneously, setting timelines and meeting them
    • Effective verbal, listening and written communication skills
    • Proactive and effective management of indirect resources
    • Strong interpersonal/team skills work effectively and independently with colleagues at various levels
