Being an Employee Relocation Representative is responsible for minimizing time consumed and moving costs. Manages payments of associated services and reimbursements of related expenses. Additionally, Employee Relocation Representative may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Employee Relocation Representative works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Work is closely managed. Description
Loads, transports, and unloads customers’ household goods and other person effects. May perform residential or office moving including military, GSA, national account and COD moves within a 150 mile radius from RLD’s warehouse.
Responsibilities
· Supervision of crews between 1-5 men on move jobs.
· Completion of proper paperwork on jobs based on move type. Includes military paperwork GBL, DD-619, 1850, etc. as well as basic inventory and other origin and destination forms.
· Proper handling of customer goods during transition including the ability to load and unload using industry set standards as it pertains to shipment type.
· Knowledge of ELD functionality.
· Ability to properly measure real time vs. estimated time and to ensure jobs are completed within estimates and orders for service.
· Compliance with FMCSA rules and regulations as it pertains to intrastate and interstate commerce.
· Oversee the safe operation and maneuvering of various equipment types including power units and trailering equipment in commercial spaces and residential areas.
Requirements
· Valid class B commercial driver license.
- Valid class D driver license.
· Current DOT Medical certificate and the ability to pass a DOT pre-employment drug and alcohol screen
· Ability to work irregular hours and on occasion perform out of state jobs.
· Must possess your own set of tools for the proper disassembly and reassembly of HHG and commercial grade furniture.
· Must pass a background investigation.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $36,000.00 - $50,000.00 per mile
