DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY: Our client is seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join their team as a part time Customer Service Representative. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients and ensuring their needs are met. Monday-Friday 1pm-5pm.
Duties:
- Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Provide accurate information about our products and services to customers
- Assist customers with placing orders, tracking shipments, and resolving any issues or concerns
- Utilize phone systems and demonstrate proper phone etiquette while interacting with customers
- Analyze customer needs and provide appropriate solutions or recommendations
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently using AS400 or other relevant software
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing and delivery of services
- Maintain customer records and update information as necessary
Experience:
- Previous experience in customer service or a related field is preferred
- Familiarity with transportation management systems or logistics industry is a plus
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Proficient in using computer software programs such as Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
