Employee Services Director directs the selection, design, and implementation of employee engagement programs geared to attract and retain employees and promote a healthy and productive work environment. Evaluates programs focused on work-life, child care, fitness, discounts, remote working, education, training, and others to provide options that engage employees. Being an Employee Services Director develops processes to analyze and assess program utilization, employee feedback, competitiveness, and workforce productivity to ensure that a cost-effective mix of programs is offered. Designs policies and procedures to promote efficiency and optimize administrative hours to control costs. Additionally, Employee Services Director researches and remains up to date with evolving changes in the employee experience space to identify areas to improve employee engagement and work experience. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Employee Services Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be an Employee Services Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     Job Summary:

    A 401k administrator is a specialist who manages the day-to-day administration of a 401k plan. They ensure to keep the retirement plan running smoothly. The employer’s retirement plan is overseen and managed by a 401-k administrator.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • This is an in-office position.
    • Understanding each client company’s plan design, employee matching program, and profit-sharing options.
    • Assisting plan sponsors and customizing set up of plan in payroll system.
    • Overseeing the plan operation and approving the transactions, including employee contributions, employer matching, loans, and distributions.
    • Monitoring compliance with plan’s rules, law changes, and federal regulations, and making plan amendments when needed.
    • Filing the required plan notices – required forms by the Department of Labor and Internal Revenue Service, such as Safe Harbor notices, 1099-R, and 5500 forms.
    • Preparing the annual participant census.
    • Reviewing the Summary Plan Description for the plan’s participants and beneficiaries and requesting changes from the TPA if needed.
    • Discrimination testing and audit support. Relaying testing results to client companies when needed.
    • Helping employees by increasing employer contributions or refunding top-earning workers.
    • Educating employees on how to participate, use benefits, and maximize savings.
    • Ensuring to maintain records, such as participant accounts records, plan documents, and plan administration.
    • Submitting weekly file of contributions and employer match to Transamerica or another 401K vendor.

    Job Requirements and Qualifications:

    • Preferred four-year professional degree in Business, Accounting or Human Resources
    • Advanced Skills in Excel
    • Technical, functional, and in-depth expertise in 401K plan administration with at least five years’ experience
    • Understanding and application of regulations and laws to protect the interest of Pinnacle Employee Services as well as our clients.
    • Able to deliver high quality customer service in a professional manner.
    • Strong team development skills; excellent at clarifying common goals among diverse staff members, gaining consensus on an overall approach, and building a collaborative environment.
    • Excellent verbal, written and listening skills.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Commitment to detail, quality, and confidentiality.
    • Ability to work independently and with a team.
    • Ability to adapt between multiple projects and timelines.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
