Employee Services Manager manages the selection, design, and implementation of employee engagement programs geared to attract and retain employees and promote a healthy and productive work environment. Administers programs focused on work-life, child care, fitness, discounts, remote working, education, training, and others to provide options that engage employees. Being an Employee Services Manager analyzes and assesses program utilization, employee feedback, competitiveness, and workforce productivity to ensure that a cost-effective mix of programs is offered. Hudson Park Rehabilitation and Nursing is looking for a day shift individual whose primary duties are to plan, organize, and lead educational in-services to our staff while also maintaining up to date records on employee health. This individual plays a key role in creating a positive patient experience. In this role, you will assume responsibility for the overall assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of staff orientation and competencies. Although this position is day shift we are looking for a candidate who is flexible and willing to come in on the off shifts occassionally for educational puposes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Ensures that the highest degree of quality patient care is maintained through the education of our staff.
2. Ensures that a safe and effective resident care environment is maintained at all times.
3. Supervisory Responsibilities
4. Assists in planning, organizing, directing, supervising and evaluating educational materials for desired outcomes.
5. Assist in ensuring that facility is in compliance with all regulatory requirements.
6. Completes rounds throughout the facility to ensure compliance with all policies, procedures and regulations in regards to employee health and education.
7. Assists in ensuring customer service standards .
8. Treats all residents, visitors, and staff with courtesy and dignity.
9. Attends various weekly meetings pertaining to their department and staff
10. The ability to flex hours for educational purposes to reach all employees on all three shifts
Requirements/Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in long-term care setting.
• Licensed in NYS as a Registered Nurse preferred but not required. LPN required.
• Compassion and desire to work with geriatric population.
