Employee Services Manager manages the selection, design, and implementation of employee engagement programs geared to attract and retain employees and promote a healthy and productive work environment. Administers programs focused on work-life, child care, fitness, discounts, remote working, education, training, and others to provide options that engage employees. Being an Employee Services Manager analyzes and assesses program utilization, employee feedback, competitiveness, and workforce productivity to ensure that a cost-effective mix of programs is offered. Reviews and researches complex questions and identifies opportunities to improve employee engagement and work experience. Additionally, Employee Services Manager implements policies and procedures to guide department workflow to control program costs, promoting efficiency and optimizing administrative hours delegated to programs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Employee Services Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions.     The Opportunity:

    As a professional in Business Services, you have the experience and skills to ensure our Delivery Hub operations are effective, efficient, timely, and valuable for internal and external clients. You know how to interface with internal and external customers and leadership to understand needs and gain insight on Business Services performance.

    As a member of the Employee Payables team, you will perform managerial, analytical, auditing and development responsibilities, including T&E, P-Card & Tuition, Policy, Expense Reimbursement, Compliance, Training and Communication, Audit and Reporting, Employee Payables Forecasting, Systems, and SOX/DFARs Audit and Controls. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

    How You’ll Contribute:

    • Analyze and manage travel and expense policies, ensuring they are compliant with BAH regulations and government requirements.
    • Oversee the approval process of submitted expenses. Ensure timely and accurate processing of T&E reimbursements to employees.
    • Update procedures and controls to prevent fraud and misuse.
    • Implement training programs for employees to understand expense policies and reimbursement procedures.
    • Prepare regular reports for senior management detailing the status of T&E, issues, and recommendations for improvements.
    • Assist in the budgeting process by providing data and projections related to T&E and tuition reimbursement costs.
    • Advise on the management and optimization of T&E Technologies.
    • Act as a point of contact for complex issues or disputes.
    • Take appropriate action on policy violations and ensure all employees are treated fairly and consistently.
    • Oversee the approval and reimbursement process for tuition or continued education expenses.
    • Serve as tuition finance lead and process all tuition files.

    You Have:

    • 7 years of experience with accounts payable
    • Experience leading multiple teams, processes, and systems
    • Experience with Microsoft, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
    • Knowledge of GAAP
    • Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively at all levels
    • Ability to pay strict attention to detail and accuracy
    • Ability to identify and drive process improvements forward
    • Ability to analyze and implement accounts payable policies and procedures
    • HS diploma or GED


    Nice If You Have:

    • Experience with Concur, Ivalua, or Oversight
    • Knowledge of Government Contracting compliance within an accounts payable function
    • Possession of excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
    • Ability to strategically think through a business process
    • Bachelor’s degree

    Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
