Employee Services Manager manages the selection, design, and implementation of employee engagement programs geared to attract and retain employees and promote a healthy and productive work environment. Administers programs focused on work-life, child care, fitness, discounts, remote working, education, training, and others to provide options that engage employees. Being an Employee Services Manager analyzes and assesses program utilization, employee feedback, competitiveness, and workforce productivity to ensure that a cost-effective mix of programs is offered. Reviews and researches complex questions and identifies opportunities to improve employee engagement and work experience. Additionally, Employee Services Manager implements policies and procedures to guide department workflow to control program costs, promoting efficiency and optimizing administrative hours delegated to programs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Employee Services Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Employee Services Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Case Manager, Refugee Services

    The Case Manager for the Refugee Services Program will provide intensive case management to assist and support new arrival refugees during initial placement and resettlement period, as required by state and federal contracts. The position will report to the Refugee Services Manager.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Arrange housing, healthcare, social services, service provider referrals and interpretation for newly arriving refugees;
    • Maintain accurate and complete case files by updating case management systems, reporting databases, and physical files; maintain confidentiality of information;
    • Provide cross-cultural information, orient refugee families to their new community, and ensure a smooth process of resettlement;
    • Work to connect clients with supportive community networks and support systems to ensure their long-term integration in the community;
    • Attend stakeholder meetings and work with community partners to learn about resources for refugees and make referrals when needed;
    • Understands and ensures grant specific requirements for case management services are fulfilled;
    • Ensure that refugees are being served in a linguistically and culturally appropriate manner and provide education and advocacy when necessary; and
    • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor.

    POSITION REQUIREMENTS

    • High School degree required; Associate’s degree from an accredited institution is preferred;
    • Experience in case management or social work preferred;
    • Ability to work as a team member and independently, with high level of self-motivation;
    • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, troubleshoot, and follow projects through without loss of attention to detail;
    • Experience with refugee populations preferred;
    • Excellent communication skills with good written command of English;
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including keen listening ability and relationship building;
    • Proficient in the use of MS Word, MS Excel and database programs, as needed;
    • Must pass a criminal background and other screening requirements;
    • Must have a valid driver's license, insurance, clean driving record and personal transportation;
    • Demonstrated support of USCRI’s values by exhibiting respect for others, maintenance of confidential information and an appreciation of a multicultural workplace.; and
    • Dedication to the human rights of refugees, immigrants, asylum seekers, and displaced people.


    TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

    • Satisfactory Completion of USCRI’s Orientation and Training; and
    • Complete additional training as identified by supervisor(s) or Human Resources.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    • Use of manual dexterity, tactile, visual, and audio acuity;
    • Use of repetitive motion, prolonged periods of sitting and standing, and sustained visual and mental applications and demands;
    • Occasional lifting (up to 25 pounds), bending, pulling, and carrying; and
    • Quantitative/mathematical ability (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, standard measurements); and
