A local non-profit agency in Hermitage is looking for an organized and motivated warehouse/production employee to join our facility. Position is full-time with a work schedule of Monday through Thursday 6:30 am to 5:00 pm at the pay rate of $17.00/hr. Benefits available. The warehouse/production employee will assist with ensuring inventory is processed, organized and stored, as well as, aids within the areas of document destruction & tool assembly.

WAREHOUSE/PRODUCTION EMPLOYEE DUTIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Assist with all levels of inventory control from receiving to shipments
• Operate heavy machinery like forklifts to move or store inventory
• Caple of handling components/containers/materials weighing up to 60 lbs.
• Caple of handling/sliding wheeled containers weighing 50-350 lbs.
• Capability of repetitively lifting 30-60 lbs.
• Capability of performing repetitive "grabbing" and "sliding" motions of arms and shoulder for long periods of time.
• Capability of learning proper techniques and operating required equipment, ranging from the use of hand tools to operating a drill press, riveter, hammer press and other equipment
• Work as an active team member to complete team goals
• Transport materials between warehouses

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Microsoft Office experience. Excel proficiency is a plus
• High School Diploma or GED
• Forklift experienced preferred by not required (Agency will provide training and certification upon hire)
• Able to pass background check
• Valid driver's license with proof of insurance
• Clean driving record to be to operate agency vehicle
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Steel-toed footwear is required
• Physically able to lift more than 30 lbs.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOT physical certification to drive agency truck
