Position Overview:
As a Family Law Attorney, you will be responsible for providing legal counsel and representation to clients on various family law matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of family law principles, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to advocating for the best interests of their clients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Consultation: Meet with clients to discuss their legal issues, understand their objectives, and provide legal advice and guidance tailored to their specific situation.
• Case Management: Manage a caseload of family law matters, including divorce, child custody and support, adoption, paternity, domestic violence, and other related issues.
• Legal Research: Conduct legal research to analyze relevant statutes, case law, and legal precedent to develop effective legal strategies and arguments for client representation.
• Document Preparation: Draft legal documents, including petitions, complaints, motions, pleadings, settlement agreements, and court orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Court Representation: Represent clients in family court proceedings, hearings, and trials, presenting evidence, making legal arguments, and advocating for client interests.
• Negotiation and Mediation: Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients, participate in mediation sessions, and collaborate with opposing counsel to resolve disputes amicably when possible.
• Client Advocacy: Advocate for clients' rights and interests throughout the legal process, ensuring that their voices are heard and their concerns addressed in a fair and equitable manner.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar and in good standing with the relevant state licensing authority.
• Prior experience practicing family law, preferably in a law firm setting.
• Strong knowledge of family law statutes, rules of evidence, and court procedures.
