Extremely busy Tri Cities, WA law firm announces a new opening for an associate attorney. We primarily practice family law, criminal defense, general civil litigation, probate and elder law, estate planning, and immigration. The associate attorney we are looking to fill this position would not be handling immigration cases. An associate attorney could choose to practice in all areas or 2-3. The Tri Cities is an excellent community to live in, with a moderate cost of living and a very high standard of living. This is an excellent opportunity!
Firm Overview
We are an amicable and close-knit team. You will not be required to engage in advertising or other client-generating activities. We take care of all that and are swamped with numerous daily new client consultations. This job would be remote. You could move to Tri-Cities or stay located where you are now, and it would be remote.
Requirements
We seek a motivated and hardworking attorney with energy, ambition, enthusiasm, attention to detail, and personality. You must be good at selling yourself and your lawyering capabilities, so potential clients consulting with you for the first time will feel secure with you and want to hire you for their cases. Beyond getting hired, you must be a capable and efficient self-starter – and eager to resolve our clients’ legal problems – in our full variety of practice areas (with exception to immigration). If any of our practice areas is new to you, we will train and assist you with becoming proficient. You also must be capable of working a large case load: keeping all your cases moving forward to resolution and keeping your clients regularly informed about their cases.
We offer medical, dental, and vision after 30 days of employment with us. After 6 months of employment, we offer a 401k with up to a 4% match, among other perks. We reimburse your annual bar dues and CLE costs. WSBA membership is required. Private practice experience is preferred. Bilingual Spanish is a plus but is not required.
