The Smith & Eulo Law Firm is looking for an energetic, go-getter, bi-lingual (Spanish-English strongly preferred, but not required) Criminal Defense Attorney with 2 years of experience (felony experience a must!) to join an amazing team of successful, caring, and compassionate Criminal Defense and Civil Litigation Attorneys. Job Responsibilities:

• Meet with potential clients
• Interview witnesses
• Perform legal research
• Visit clients in custody
• Attend court hearings, trials, proceedings
• File motions
• Examine the crime scene
• Accrue additional evidence in support of a case’s argument against the prosecution’s charges
• Gather expert witnesses to testify in court
• Work on several cases at the time
• Regularly updating clients about their cases
• Responding to the urgent needs of clients
• Be willing to attend community service events
• Keep open lines of communication with paralegal and other office staff
• Travel by car to close by counties as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Must Have Qualifications:

• Florida Bar licensed
• Board Certified
• Bilingual Spanish/English (strongly preferred)
• 2 years of experience (preferably at the State Attorney or The Public Defender’s Office)
• Must have felony experience
• Must be a team player
• Must be a great communicator with clients and co-workers
• Work well under pressure
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
• Be able to travel by car to nearby counties
• Be willing to be on-call on some weekends
• Great organizational and multitasking skills
• High integrity

Nice to Have Qualifications:

• Graduated from top 100 Law School
• Criminal Trial Board Certified
