Being an Endoscopy Technician may assist with medical procedures. Typically requires an associate degree. Additionally, Endoscopy Technician typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Endoscopy Technician works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Medical Assistant/Endoscopy Technician (PRN) NO NIGHTS/NO WEEKENDS/NO CALLS/NO HOLIDAYS!

  • Who can work cooperatively with staff and physicians and perform a variety of tasks. Responsible for rendering professional care to patients undergoing procedures within the Center, in accordance with established policies and procedures. Major responsibilities include: varies clerical tasks, greeting patients, updating and filing patients’ medical records, recording vital signs, preparing patients for procedures, assisting the physician during endoscopy procedures, cleaning endoscopy scopes, putting supplies away and calling patients pre-operative.

    • You must possess a high school Diploma or equivalent/GED and medical assistant training
    • BLS certification preferred but can be obtained at Center
    • Previous healthcare experience required
    • Bilingual not required but preferred
