Come join our single specialty Ambulatory Surgery Center. Saratoga Schenectady Endoscopy Center (SSEC) is one of the leading Endoscopy Centers in the area. We are seeking the right candidate to join our team of professionals. Our focus is to provide quality patient centered care as we strive for excellent service in a compassionate manner.

SSEC is seeking a full-time Endoscopy Technician. This is a M-F day position 8 hour days. no holidays, weekends or on call.

As an Endoscopy Technician, you will help drive our team to continued success while performing excellent patient care. You will need to possess excellent understanding of infection control principles and be able to work well with a team. Your duties will include but are not limited to:

• Scope Reprocessing
• High Level Disinfection
• Procedure room turnaround
• Perform quality assurance tests on equipment & maintains daily records
• Supply management
• Transportation of patients
• Turnover of pre/post procedure bays
• procedure room set up
• Point of care Testing

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of healthcare experience is helpful
• knowledge of high-level disinfection processes a plus
• BLS Certification preferred

Skills

• Knowledge of infection control principles
• Attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Computer skills
• Ability to work as a team as well as individually
• Ability to multitask and prioritize
