We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Towing Dispatcher to join our team at 24/7 dispatch. 24/7 Dispatch is an affiliate company of Professional Exchange Service Corporation (PESC).

As a Towing Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and managing the dispatch activities for our clients. This is a dynamic and fast-paced position that requires excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to handle stressful situations with calmness and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch Coordination
• Receive and prioritize incoming service requests, emergencies, and towing assignments.
• Coordinate and dispatch drivers to respond to service calls efficiently.
• Monitor the progress of ongoing assignments and provide updates to relevant parties.
• Communication
• Communicate effectively with other towing dispatchers, clients, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Provide clear and concise instructions to towing personnel, ensuring a smooth and timely response to service requests.
• Record Keeping
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all dispatch activities.
• Input relevant information into the dispatch system, ensuring data integrity.
• Problem Solving
• Address and resolve any issues that may arise during dispatch, collaborating with towing dispatchers and other team members.
• Make quick and effective decisions to optimize response times and customer satisfaction.

Skills & Qualifications

• MUST be available to work nights and weekends, including holidays.
• Open availability (we are a 24/7 company and require open availability for coverage needs)
• Able to type 30 words per minute
• Basic computer skills
• Bilingual a plus (not required)
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in dispatch, customer service, or related field preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.50 - $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
