About the Position: As our Specialized Dispatch Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in the continued success of Barber Trucking. We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to oversee the operations of our heavy-haul trucks, ensuring excellence in service delivery. This dynamic role is based out of our Brookville, PA terminal and offers a unique opportunity for career growth and impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain real-time driver and truck status using our TMS.
• Curate and manage driver performance records, providing constructive feedback and addressing any issues promptly.
• Lead and inspire Heavy Haul drivers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team.
• Collaborate with management on customer pricing strategies, entering rates into Heavy Haul loads for seamless billing processes.
• Handle After-Hour and Emergency phone calls with professionalism and efficiency.
• Navigate and resolve challenges diplomatically, maintaining a positive and respectful environment.
• Communicate effectively with accounting, payroll, safety, and human resources on driver-related matters.
• Champion Driver Retention Goals by assisting drivers with challenges and contributing to a supportive work environment.

Required Experience:

• Proven experience in heavy haul transportation, logistics, or a related industry.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the transportation sector.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance in heavy haul operations.

Skills:

• Ability to identify and solve complex problems related to logistics, transportation, and route planning.
• Strong analytical skills to optimize operations, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.
• Customer-centric mindset with a focus on meeting client expectations and maintaining positive relationships.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
