Job Description:
The Dispatch Supervisor will report to the General Manager and receive guidance and/or direction from the client’s or HQ’s Transportation Management Team. The DS will provide exceptional service and will be responsible for the day-to-day operation at various sites.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for employee performance measured by client relationship and overall employee engagement and punctuality.
Hiring, training, and development of Dispatch staff.
Weekly client interaction and reporting.
Conduct spot checks on various sites and able to identify and resolve issues with lighting speed.
Ensure accurate and consistent reporting.
Responsible for monitoring and reporting any safety issues and/or performance issues regarding routes, employees, and/or client.
Enforce company’s policies and procedures.
Be able to efficiently communicate in a timely and professional manner to all departments and department heads of all events affecting shuttle service and passengers' concerns/safety.
Respond to rider feedback and inquiries via e-ticketing system.
Oversee vendor performance using our preferred Transportation Management System (TMS)
Respond to employee inquiries regarding schedules, lost and found, safety, and general transportation related items.
Analyze and interpret ridership numbers to suggest route changes for efficiency
Coordinate with vendors to ensure safe, timely performance of the employee shuttle program
Deliver transportation notifications and alerts to employees using multiple communication channels

Skills Required and Physical Demands:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Able to work a split shift and with flexible hours.
Standing outside for prolonged periods of time - up to 8 hours or more per day.
Basic understanding of GPS tracking, vehicle dispatch operations, and radio communication equipment.
