Franklin Transit Management (FTM) is currently seeking a Part time and Full-time transit bus driver/dispatcher. The schedule for this position is flexible. Job Description
Communicate effectively with drivers using two-way radio.
Interact with passengers to answer any questions pertaining to service.
Fill in for drivers occasionally to safely and efficiently operate assigned vehicles on either a fixed-route or paratransit schedule.
Requirements:
Valid Massachusetts DPU license and a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with passenger endorsement and no air brakes restriction to be obtained within 9 months of hire (Training available). Valid Class D license for at least 3 years is required.
Already possess or have the ability to obtain a Federal DOT Medical Certificate.
Applicants must be eligible to work in US without restrictions for any employer at any time; be able to pass a drug screen and background check, including motor vehicle check to DOT standards.
Past customer service experience is preferred.
