Point Ready Mix seeks a detail-oriented individual to work at our central dispatch center in Kenosha, WI.
We are a locally managed ready mix concrete company with 8 locations and over 100 trucks.
Responsibilities:
· Receive and schedule concrete orders and direct deliveries using industry software
· Gracefully handle heavy phone traffic
· Optimize delivery efficiency
· Establish professional relationships with customers
· Learn and comprehend technical aspect of our products
· Work as part of a dispatch team focused on customer service
· Understand and interpret union contracts as they relate to driver pay rules and scheduling
· Communicate and work well with others as a team including sales and quality control
Other:
Prior dispatch experience required
· Strong computer, math and phone skills are essential
· Knowledge of areas in Northern Illinois west to Rockford and Southeast Wisconsin a must
· Must be able to work flexible hours
No Sundays, Saturday rotation limited to 1 Saturday per month
