Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or Communications preferred but not required (or Equivalent Experience)
Customer-centric mindset
Working knowledge of or aptitude to learn about HVAC systems or products as well as heat pump water heaters.
Experience with the energy efficiency program market in Maryland a plus
One to three years of experience working with contractors and distributors working on energy efficiency programs in Maryland or experience building relationships with trade allies in similar markets
Intermediate experience in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access is essential
Strong attention to detail, time management, organizational and prioritization skills. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage deadline and projects with competing priorities and deadlines
Excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong proofreading and editing skills. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate to technical and non-technical audiences

Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining relationships with key individuals in the industry, including utility client customers, architects, engineers, contractors, non-profit officials, and public officials to achieve project goals

Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment under pressure in time-critical situations and be productive and self-motivated during slow periods
