Energy Manager monitors the organization's energy usage. Develops and implements practices and procedures designed to reduce energy consumption and/or improve efficiency of usage. Being an Energy Manager prepares annual budgets associated with conservation programs. May research alternative/renewable energy technologies and determine their feasibility and cost-effectiveness. Additionally, Energy Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Energy Manager work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Requirements
· Minimum of Associated Degree in a related field or 5 years in manufacturing environment
· Working knowledge of MRP, SAP, and APICS courses is desired
· Experience with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access, Power Point, MS Project, Teams)
· Self-motivation to find efficient and effective ways to accomplish end goals
· Ability to multitask and work under time constraints to meet deadlines
· Primary contact for client communications and execution, accountable for client satisfaction, sales forecast, delivery performance
· Meet regularly with functional leadership to review production performance, discuss issues, get delivery commitments.
· Provide detailed scheduling reports on a daily, weekly, monthly basis for key areas of manufacturing and purchasing
· Analyze the flow of purchased and manufactured materials from order entry through shipment
· Manage client inspections, including quality dossiers as required
· Minimum amount of travel with the position
