Energy Manager monitors the organization's energy usage. Develops and implements practices and procedures designed to reduce energy consumption and/or improve efficiency of usage. Being an Energy Manager prepares annual budgets associated with conservation programs. May research alternative/renewable energy technologies and determine their feasibility and cost-effectiveness. Additionally, Energy Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Energy Manager work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Technical Project Manager | Energy

  • We are seeking a dynamic, innovative Technical Project Manager to coordinate projects and requirements across our technical, creative and business teams. You will be a key point of contact for a diverse cross-functional team that will look to you for organization and guidance. This is a highly visible role, offering the opportunity to interact internally and externally across senior levels of the organization. This role is based in Fort Mill, SC campus Monday-Thursday.

    What You'll Do:

    • Collaborate with diverse teams to develop, organize, and execute cross-functional plans for delivering tools / systems / integrations that drive growth
    • Roadmap and prioritize with business stakeholders to refine and plan for both long and short term strategic initiatives
    • Lead cross-functional team meetings between technical and non-technical teams to follow up, prioritize work, and track dependencies
    • Coordinate meetings with stakeholders and provide updates
    • Assertively hold all parties accountable to strategic goals
    • Discover the true requirements underlying requests; recommend alternative process approaches when needed; lead teams to meet aggressive timelines
    • Work with our technical, creative and business teams to coordinate the development effort, track milestones and/or performance metrics, drive the project, and manage the operational implementation process
    • Assess incoming feature requests and work with creative and engineering teams to determine level of effort
    • Contribute to progress tracking and reporting on all workstreams. Facilitate meetings and effectively communicate project expectations and deadlines to team members and stakeholders
    • Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management and make trade-offs; encourage smart risk-taking behavior to maximize business benefit; identify interdependencies between concurrent projects to prevent downstream problems
    • Put systems in place to enable the teams to be self-sufficient with things such as JIRA boards, dashboards, reports etc.

    What We're Looking For:

    • 3-5 years of Project Management experience
    • Demonstrate maturity, judgment, negotiation/influence skills, analytical skills, leadership skills essential to successful program/project management
    • A motivated self-starter that excels in planning, scheduling, project communications and risk management
    • Thrives in a team environment with representatives from multiple functional disciplines
    • Exhibit excellent verbal, presentation, and documentation skills, including comfort communicating to external stakeholders
    • Detail oriented, yet able to look at a wide array of choices and identify what truly matters
    • Proven track record of handling multiple projects of different sizes and durations
    • Strong relationship building skills
    • Strong problem solving capabilities

    Compensation

    • USA Compensation Range: $70,000 - 100,000*
      • Note actual salary is based on geographic location, qualifications, and experience.
