Scope:

The Unbranded Fuels Manager is primarily responsible for leading the sales, marketing, and fuel supply teams to profitably grow the company’s unbranded fuel business unit. This position must be able to generate profitable sales growth through leading a dynamic and high performing team The Unbranded Fuels Manager will work with Unbranded Fuel Sales Managers to achieve department sales goals, continued customer service, profitability, and new business/territory development.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective sales strategy to achieve and surpass budgeted sales, profitability, and business goals.
• Motivate and lead a high-performance management team.
• Communicate frequently with fuel suppliers to maintain good relations, drive innovation, maximize the impact of offer/promotion, and ensure uninterrupted supply.
• Communicates supply issues including terminal outages, product availability, among others.
• Provides correct terminal loading information to carriers for all suppliers at each terminal and updates any changes to the loading information.
• Collaborates with carriers to solve logistics problems caused by short- and long-term supply disruptions caused by terminal maintenance, pipeline closures, etc.
• Analyze supply markets to ensure competitiveness.
• Monitor daily and weekly allocations by supplier to source allocated terminals to carriers.
• Maintain a working knowledge of all relevant customer issues, pricing and billing procedures, and operational processes and procedures.
• Assist to maintain existing business with wholesale fuel customers and current book of business as well as develop new business relationships with target customers to grow the business by bringing on new wholesale supplied sites/locations.
• Work as a team along with Unbranded Wholesale Fuel Sales Managers with daily duties which include but are not limited to administrative functions, nighty pricing, billing, credit, and logistics.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Direct P&L responsibility and accountability
• Experience working directly with suppliers and building relationships.
• Day travel up to 25%
• Must be able to exhibit a high level of responsibility, integrity, dependability, and stability.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $150,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
