Energy Manager monitors the organization's energy usage. Develops and implements practices and procedures designed to reduce energy consumption and/or improve efficiency of usage. Being an Energy Manager prepares annual budgets associated with conservation programs. May research alternative/renewable energy technologies and determine their feasibility and cost-effectiveness. Additionally, Energy Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Energy Manager work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. The Operations Manager shall ensure the day-to-day management of projects from inception to completion, scheduling, permitting, utility applications, material quotes, purchasing, work orders, fleet management, safety database, corporate travel, and other responsibilities consistent with Transform Energy’s policy and procedures. The Operations Manager shall oversee and maintain the O&M monitoring operations for Transform Energy including communication with O&M team, scheduling with clients, and other duties as assigned. The Operations Manager works under direction of the Transform Energy’s CEO and Construction Manager. As an “at will” employee, employment may be terminated at any time by the employee or employer with or without notice and with or without cause.

Education: Knowledge of operations, construction project management, solar, and solar knowledge desired. PMP Project Management Professional Certification a plus. Bachelor’s Degree in business, operations or a related field a plus.
Experience: The individual selected must have (3) three years of management / operations experience including project management, scheduling, purchasing and general management experience.
MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Strong customer service experience.
Previous experience in project coordination/project management required.
Ability to read solar blue prints and electrical drawings.
Ability to prioritize projects and daily activities to timely completion.

Must have a strong work ethic, attendance and sense of urgency.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Requires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping and stretching. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator and other equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare and present reports.
