Energy Manager monitors the organization's energy usage. Develops and implements practices and procedures designed to reduce energy consumption and/or improve efficiency of usage. Being an Energy Manager prepares annual budgets associated with conservation programs. May research alternative/renewable energy technologies and determine their feasibility and cost-effectiveness. Additionally, Energy Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Energy Manager work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. We are currently seeking a full-time Energy Efficiency Project Manager II to join our Policy & Ratings Team. The person selected to fill this position will leverage experience in technical project portfolio management, stakeholder collaborative facilitation, and in-depth knowledge of building energy technologies and/or energy efficiency policy. Experience in energy efficiency related to (one or more) lighting (including networked lighting controls), HVAC, water heating, envelope, water efficiency, demand response, or related technology solutions, is desired to help create large scale savings for our clients. Previous experience working with building efficiency standards and appliance efficiency standards is also desirable.
