Energy Manager jobs in Portsmouth, NH

Weston & Sampson is currently seeking an Energy Project Engineer with 2-8 years of relevant experience for our Massachusetts or New Hampshire offices. The candidate will be familiar with energy efficiency programs in MA (MassSave) and/or NH (NH Saves) and have experience working with electric and gas utilities. Experience conducting energy audits and energy savings calculations is preferred. The candidate must have a strong work ethic and desire to be part of a growing team of energy efficiency and engineering professionals.

What you’ll do:

• Work closely with our Team Leaders and Project Managers on a variety of energy conservation and implementation projects. This includes conducting energy assessments/audits, savings calculations for electric and gas projects, completing and submitting applications to the various energy efficiency programs, and tracking progress and results.

• Travel to sites within New England to conduct assessments independently or as a team. Represent Weston & Sampson in a professional manner at all times.

• Complete written energy audit reports in accordance with ASHRAE standards.

• Interface both with clients,utility company representatives, and installers to coordinate and execute projects.

What you will bring:

• Ability to manage the workload demands of multiple simultaneous projects and track and achieve goals related to energy savings.
• Experience working with energy efficiency programs in MA and NH.
• Proficient in energy modeling (TraneTrace, Equest) or other industry standard energy analysis tools is a plus
• A positive attitude and able to communicate effectively with others. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A commitment to quality, excellence, and curiosity to learn and grow in role. Taking advantage of internal and external training opportunities encouraged by Weston & Sampson.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Certified Energy Manager certification, Certified Energy Auditor certification or relevant experience.
