Responsibilities Areas of Accountability:

Data Management

• Manage multiple databases containing confidential Shipley customer identity and energy usage data. Responsible for ensuring all analyses are fact-driven and consistent with applicable market regulations, utility tariffs, and provider contract language
• Manually download files of customer usage, market data, etc.
• Complete analyses and special projects for different customers, as needed

Customer and Consulting Projects

• Manage the production of Customer Bill Report Cards and/or customer dashboards concept and make continuous improvement to this process
• Assist with the preparation of data and documents for pricing opportunities, as needed
• Develop and prepare presentations and data visualizations for customers
• Manage the maintenance of Utility Tariff Calculators
• Other analytical, consulting and data management duties as identified by Shipley Energy Advisor(SEA) leadership

Individual, Team, and Company Participation

• Participate in the company’s team-building, and cultural growth opportunities
• Attend periodic SEA team meetings, weekly one-on-one meetings with the Manager of Key Accounts and Consulting of SEA, and periodic interdepartmental meetings
• Complete administrative duties as needed to support your areas of accountability
• Complete all quarterly objectives as agreed and committed.
• Complete other projects and duties as assigned by the Manager of Key Accounts of SEA

Requirements:

• Currently holding a 4-year college degree in business, engineering, data science, or related field, or making material progress (60 hours) toward such a degree, or equivalent work experience
• Business-appropriate communication, writing, multitasking, and organizational skills
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment requiring flexibility and creative thinking
• Must be detail-oriented and diligent, and possess excellent customer service mindset and focus
• Proficient in computer technology including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, Tableau (or a similar program), and database and analytics software.
• Ability to make various mathematical calculations
• Ability to solve problems involving multiple concrete variables and probability judgements in standardized situations
