Energy Representative is responsible for providing energy efficiency advice to customers. Develops, communicates, and monitors programs related to energy efficiency, sustainability, waste management, and environmental impact. Being an Energy Representative develops and distributes educational material; evaluates and recommends alternatives to existing systems or processes. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Additionally, Energy Representative typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. To be an Energy Representative typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience. Gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Responsibilities:
- Conduct energy assessments and consultations with residential and commercial clients
- Provide information and recommendations on energy-saving solutions and products
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales targets and goals
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, products, and regulations related to energy efficiency
- Utilize software tools, such as Salesforce, to track customer interactions and progress
Skills:
- Fluent in Spanish and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong market knowledge and understanding of energy efficiency solutions
- Ability to effectively communicate technical information to customers
- Experience in solar sales or technical sales is a plus
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building relationships
- Proficiency in using software tools for sales tracking and reporting
