Energy Representative is responsible for providing energy efficiency advice to customers. Develops, communicates, and monitors programs related to energy efficiency, sustainability, waste management, and environmental impact. Being an Energy Representative develops and distributes educational material; evaluates and recommends alternatives to existing systems or processes. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Additionally, Energy Representative typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. To be an Energy Representative typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience. Gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Experience- Minimum of 2 years of technical training or hands on experience in facilities energy management program
Major Responsibilities and Duties- Assist the Energy Manager in the installation of DDC controls and other components to enhance the total energy management program.
- Program requested facility schedule for air conditioning and heating usage.
- Respond and assist the Energy Manager to determine appropriate temperature settings for work order requests.
- Assist the Energy Manager to determine appropriate response to any HVAC work order requests for DDC evaluations.
- Rotate with Energy Manager for after-hours emergency calls.
- Be available for after hour demands.

- Research district policy, precedent, and current practices prior to taking action.

- Participates fully in drills and safety exercises to provide for the safety and overall emotional wellbeing of students.
- Utilize time wisely for effective management of job responsibilities.
- Maintain punctuality in daily work times, appointments, and meetings.
- Meet task completion deadlines established by supervisor.
- Maintain friendly customer-service-driven interactions with all stakeholders, students, teachers, administrators, and co-workers.
- Work cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure that the goals of the school/department are met.
- Maintain a positive and professional tone in all communication (i.e. email, written, and verbal).
- Perform other duties and accept other responsibilities as assigned.
