May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Additionally, Energy Representative typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. To be an Energy Representative typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience. Gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Qualifications:- Proven experience in direct-to-customer sales, preferably within the solar industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with potential customers.
- Excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities to close deals successfully.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Knowledge of solar energy systems, industry regulations, and financing options is preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
