Energy Representative is responsible for providing energy efficiency advice to customers. Develops, communicates, and monitors programs related to energy efficiency, sustainability, waste management, and environmental impact. Being an Energy Representative develops and distributes educational material; evaluates and recommends alternatives to existing systems or processes. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Additionally, Energy Representative typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. To be an Energy Representative typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience. Gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. As an Energy Auditor, you will be responsible for conducting home energy audits and recommending energy-efficient upgrades to homeowners. You will use your knowledge of energy efficiency and indoor air quality to help homeowners save money on their utility bills and reduce their carbon footprint. In this role, you will:
- Conduct home energy audits
- Identify energy efficiency opportunities
- Recommend energy-efficient upgrades
- Prepare reports and proposals
- Build relationships with homeowners
- No cold calling
- This position includes six weeks of paid training in the classroom and in the field.
We are looking for candidates who have:
- High school graduate
- An interest in the energy efficiency industry
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Features
- $80K to $120K potential earnings annually!
- Full benefit package including matching 401K, company paid dental, life insurance, PTO and paid holidays.
- Work hours are Monday-Friday, 9a-7p
