Engineer assists in design, development, implementation, and analysis of technical products and systems. Performs simple and routine engineering design tasks with standard techniques. Being an Engineer assists more senior engineers in the preparation of plans, designs, computation methods and reports. Requires a bachelor's degree of engineering. Additionally, Engineer typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Engineer works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Work is closely managed. The Huron County Engineer’s Office is now accepting applications for Seasonal Employment (May through September).
Under the direction of a supervisor, performs varied types of manual and unskilled laboring work.
Duties include but not limited to:
- General maintenance of buildings and roads.
- Pot hole patching
- Mowing / trimming / brush removal
- Flagging
- Litter pick-up
Position requires employee to work in outdoor weather conditions such as sun, heat, wind, and rain. The work physical demands and work environment characteristics described are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
Minimum Qualifications: Must be high school graduate. Possess a valid State of Ohio Driver’s License.
