Engineering Aide assists engineers with technical tasks and project support. Sets up equipment and monitors tests and experiments. Being an Engineering Aide observes results, collects data, and compiles summaries and reports. May require a high school diploma or its equivalent with. Additionally, Engineering Aide typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Engineering Aide may require 0-1 year of general work experience. As a Professional Land Surveyor, you will work with a multi-disciplined land-surveying and civil engineering group whose focus varies from private individuals and companies to federal, state, and tribal government entities. You will be responsible for legal research, use of GPS and robotic instruments and related software and build on your experiences by using your adept knowledge in working with various regulations for municipal agencies as well as private industries. As a team leader, you will perform and oversee surveying activities such as boundary surveys, topographic surveys, construction staking, and GIS mapping; supervise, mentor and train survey technicians to develop their survey capabilities; supervise and be responsible for survey work performed by your team; contribute to company success by further developing professional relationships and growing clientele; and assist in expanding the firm’s survey practice by performing successful project outcomes that benefit our clients.
