Ensures all engineering projects, initiatives, and processes are in conformance with organization's established policies and objectives. Being an Engineering Director utilizes best practice engineering methods and provides expert technical guidance for engineering initiatives. Incorporates components, materials, and tools that result in cost-effective and quality output. Additionally, Engineering Director manages overall engineering budget and costs. Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline. Typically reports to top management. The Engineering Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Our client, a windows and door manufacturer in Medford, WI is seeking a direct hire, Testing and Certification Engineering Manager. This person would manage all aspects of the certification programs from testing through labeling. Knowledge of windows and door manufacturing is a must. Ideally someone who comes from production.
