The Business Development Manager is responsible for revenue growth of Factory Automation Systems and Services businesses within the assigned territory.
Your Role
Develops and implements annual sales growth strategies that will meet or exceed revenue targets.
Meets or exceeds quarterly and annual revenue targets. Revenue targets will include Factory Automation Systems and Services business units.
Manage sales opportunities following the current sales continuum process and provides weekly updates.
Exercise due diligence in understanding company financials to ensure sales opportunities are profitable to the organization.
Prioritizes time commitments with key business prospects that align best with DT Engineering’s revenue targets, financial health, and ideal customer profiles.
Establishes and maintains relationships with target industry influencers and key strategic partners.
Monitor’s competitor products, sales and marketing activities on a regular basis and report findings for review and guidance.
Experience and Education
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or industrial engineering.
MBA preferred.
Up to five years’ experience in the industrial automation industry.
Field sales experience or a member of a Society for Sales Engineers.
Life Science, cosmetic, or consumer packaged goods experience preferred.
Ability to travel to customer sites and various trade shows.
