Hotel Skyler and Parkview Hotels are currently hiring an Engineering Manager. Our Maintenance Associates are fun, energetic professionals with the ability to exceed expectations using excellent guest service skills and a great smile!

The Engineering Manager provides a high level of property maintenance knowledge. Maintains the hotel facility, including the physical building structure, mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems and related equipment and has overall responsibility to focus on maintaining safe and fully functioning facility while ensuring compliance with all safety and state regulations.

Responsibilities:

• The ideal candidate must have knowledge of Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC and Carpentry skills while conducting preventive maintenance of facility and equipment.
• Ensure all staff are trained and have the tools and equipment to carry out job duties.
• Manage a Team and provide guidance and support.
• Develop and implement maintenance programs to ensure optimal performance of all equipment and systems.
• Work with vendors for equipment repairs and service contracts.
• Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordinate with other departments.
• Understand and respond to customers’ needs and ensure a high level of guest satisfaction.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and accurately with guests and co-workers to complete daily work orders.
• Maintain and order parts and supplies in a timely and effective manner.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks, including work orders, manuals and warranties.
• Maintains a clean, always organized and hazard free work area.
• Can multi-task between on-going projects and daily work orders.
• Follow all maintenance procedures and safety guidelines.
• Complete various preventive maintenance assignments
• Works in conjunction with other departments as needed.
• Additional assigned duties as directed by the General Manager

Qualifications

• Three years of Hotel Maintenance experience or facilities management or a related field
• Must have prior Supervisory Skills to oversee a Team
• Must have availability to include Days, Evenings, Weekends and Holidays.
• Must have reliable transportation as you will be traveling between both Hotels.
• Proficient communication (written and oral)
• Strong time management skills and attention to detail
• Hilton OnQ and Opera Property Management experience is a Plus

Pay: From $58,500.00 per year
