Job Summary:

We are seeking a meticulous Billing Specialist to join our team. The Billing Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring that billing processes run smoothly and that payments are obtained for services provided.

Responsibilities:

• Review and edit weekly client case notes for accuracy.
• Submit billing information to obtain payments for services provided.
• Organize receipts for client purchase transactions.
• Create invoices for payment information and provide them to the appropriate party responsible for payment.
• Review all payment information to verify that requested payments have been received.
• Email CMs regarding payments and missing information related to payments.
• Communicate via email with Case Managers regarding unpaid invoices and weekly payments.
• Review all weekly payment information for accuracy and print and organize all payment information.
• Track all task activity in previously created Excel spreadsheets.
• Communicate all financial information with the company's Book-Keeper.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Billing Specialist or similar role.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Knowledge of billing processes and procedures.
