Payments Manager - Medical Billing

APS is looking for a Manager to oversee our Payments Department. The Manager leads and directs the work of others through planning, managing and coordinating the processes and functions of the department to ensure department goals are established and met. This position must be familiar with the payment process and able to resolve issues quickly to keep the process moving smoothly and efficiently.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Works closely with the Supervisors and provides leadership to ensure the successful accomplishment of key functions to meet department goals
• Directs and coordinates tasks through the department Supervisors
• Meets regularly to discuss and assist Supervisors in managing staff, reviewing staffing needs, work schedules, department coverage, assigning of tasks, status of employee performance, etc.
• Identifies and resolves issues quickly to ensure department productivity goals are met
• Evaluates and provides recommendations to strengthen the process
• Other duties as required

Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or at least two years of management experience with a proven track record of managing a team to achieve results
• Demonstrated knowledge of the payment process
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
• Strong computer skills
• Ability to read, interpret and analyze reports
• Problem solver

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
