    The Manager of Billing and Cash Posting is responsible for leading the billing and cash posting operations of the company. This role involves overseeing the planning, directing, and supervising of staff, as well as coordinating and evaluating the day-to-day activities to ensure efficiency and revenue maximization. The ideal candidate will lead by example, demonstrating excellent communication skills, organizational prowess, and a proactive approach to managing billing and accounts receivable functions.  This position is on site with a hybrid schedule and reports to our Corporate Office located in Carmel, IN.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead, manage, retain, and hold team members accountable for their performance.
    • Coach, mentor, and train team members in alignment with the Bierman Way and established processes.
    • Collaborate with the VP of Revenue Cycle to implement the business plan effectively.
    • Analyze workflows for efficiency improvements and remove obstacles and barriers to payment.
    • Ensure the health of account audits, documenting results, and developing action plans for improvement.
    • Manage team schedules to ensure comprehensive coverage, including during absences.
    • Develop and analyze key metric reports to review with leadership.
    • Participate in quality improvement initiatives in accordance with organizational goals.
    • Maintain confidentiality of protected health information (PHI) and comply with HIPAA guidelines.
    • Troubleshoot issues, implement software updates, and respond to error messages as needed.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Requirements


    Required Skills, Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred.
    • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience within the healthcare industry, ideally in ABA or Behavioral Health.
    • Experience with Central Reach and Waystar preferred.
    • Extensive knowledge of benefits, eligibility, authorizations, and government regulations.
    • Strong ability with data collection systems and reporting.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and the ability to manage multiple tasks

    Basic & Physical Requirements

    • Must have manual dexterity to perform specific computer and electronic device functions
    • Must have visual acuity to read and comprehend written communication though computer, electronic devices, and paper means.
    • Must be able to maintain prolonged periods of working on a computer while sitting at a desk and attending virtual meetings
    • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
