Westmed is looking for a motivated and knowledgeable EMS billing coder and/or dispatcher with 2-5 years of experience in the EMS field. The ideal candidate is an expert in EMS medical billing and clinical charting compliance.
This Communications Center based position will alongside dispatchers, performing a variety of specialized duties related to the ambulance billing revenue cycle, including but not limited to monitoring and oversight of the company’s electronic tablets, troubleshooting minor software and hardware issues with field crews, and overseeing the training of all EMTs in the process of electronic charting.
