Enrollment & Billing Manager jobs in Parkersburg, WV

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

• Monitors claims for missing information and resolves any discrepancies
• Conducts troubleshooting to resolve billing issues in electronic record keeping systems
• Keeps up to date on billing requirements for major funding sources, particularly Medicaid, Medicare, BHHF, and Modivcare
• Serves as a mentor/resource for other billing staff, aiding them with problem solving as needed and answering various questions that arise
• Verifies accuracy of billing data and revises any errors prior to submission to billing sources
• Keeps records of invoices and supporting documentation
• Operates computers programmed with accounting software to record, store, and analyze billing information
• Completes various reports and spreadsheets upon request
• Investigates denials and works toward denial solutions
• Writes off unbillable events
• Maintain annual fee schedules for insurance rates and general updates to electronic health system
• Follows federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations
• Maintains confidentiality of all information and follows HIPAA regulations
• Demonstrates knowledge of and supports Westbrook Health Services mission, vision, values, policies and procedures, operating instructions, confidentiality standards and code of ethical behavior
• Supervises billing staff, including but not limited to monitoring timesheets, missed punches, PTO requests, discipline issues, and performance evaluations
