Enrollment & Billing Representative is responsible for the accurate enrollment and billing process for an insurance organization. Maintains related documents, updates corresponding records and responsible for enrollment and billing query. Being an Enrollment & Billing Representative requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Enrollment & Billing Representative possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Contacts preparers of source documents to resolve questions, inconsistencies or missing data
· Compares data entered with source documents to detect errors
· Identify and notify route salesperson of out of compliance paperwork
· Adjusts invoices as discrepancies are identified
· Verifies daily totals, verification codes and completes final settlement
· Provides customer service to Wholesalers and Independent Operators
· Explains and understands the Wholesaler Settlement Summaries (WSS reports)
· Responds to inquiries from wholesalers & distributors regarding billing statements
· Generate and create weekly customer billing in multiple formats
· Prepares deposits from company route salesmen for Accounts Receivable to process
· Identifies and resolves problems and/or inconsistencies to determining the correct action
· Trains others on billing processes
· Assists with written billing processes notes
· Analyzes each performed task to ensure it is accurate
· Works well with team members to create a positive work environment
· Assists other finance departments when needed

Education and/or Experience:
· High School Diploma or GED;
· One to three months related experience and/or training; or
· Equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

· Knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet software.
