As appropriate, the representative will be required to fulfil patients’ requests, or route calls to other staff to assist as necessary. This must be performed in a friendly, supportive, courteous, respectful, cooperative, and professional manner.Job Duties:
- Responds to incoming phone calls, mail, and email inquiries from patients in a prompt and timely manner
- Process patient payments provided over the phone.
- Take insurance information from patients and rebill accounts as necessary.
- Identify appropriate department to assist with additional requests, and route calls accordingly when necessary.
- Follow collection protocols/guidelines, and document accurate activity taken on the accounts
- Provide additional assistance to team members on special projects as necessary
Skills and Abilities:- Excellent communication skills - comfortable interacting with patient’s and other employees.
