Enrollment & Billing Representative is responsible for the accurate enrollment and billing process for an insurance organization. Maintains related documents, updates corresponding records and responsible for enrollment and billing query. Being an Enrollment & Billing Representative requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Enrollment & Billing Representative possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. This job will be with a 3rd party billing company who services Substance Abuse/Mental Health Facilities.
Employee will be expected to use internal processes to obtain insurance information of potential admitting patients.
Employee will contact respective health insurance companies to determine patients’ current benefits and eligibility.
Employee will transfer obtained data directly into Electronic Medical Record database.
Employee will be trained to mimic company/client standards but computer literacy is ideal.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
