Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

Basin Disposal is looking for an experienced Billing Specialist-Onsite to join our support team in Pasco, WA.

Basin Disposal is a local garbage company that has been family owned and operated for over 80 years. We service five counties, have locations in Yakima and Walla Walla, and offer a wide variety of services from Residential garbage pick-up, commercial garbage pick-up, to portable toilet and storage container rental.

Our goal is to provide superior service to all of our customers, whether internal or external. This position will work in conjunction with the Customer service team to provide accurate information to customers, while hitting certain internal goals for accounts receivable management.

Shift is Monday through Friday 8am-5pm

Responsibilities include:

Billing

• Multi - entity
  • Residential
  • Commercial
  • City Partners

Collection

• Performs daily accounts receivable actions for all lines of business
• Tracks and updates payment status reports.
• Owner of the Accounts receivable process
• Policy and procedure development

Pricing control

• Maintain codes and pricing in our billing/routing system
• Compare contracts to actually rates, ensuring compliance

Ideal Candidate will possess:

• 2 Years Account Billing experiences
• Multi entity and cross-company billing experience
• Customer Service experience
• Critical thinking
• Data visualization
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Exceptional Excel skills including, but not limited to:
  • • Capturing and recording important data
    • Using shortcuts and formula functions
    • Building charts and graphs
    • Sorting and filtering data
    • Utilizing pivot tables
    • SQL Experience (Preferred)
• 10-Key Knowledge and skills
• Data Cleaning
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Enjoys creating and improving processes
