Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Installer to join our team. As an Installer, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining various systems, including security systems and computer networks. This is a hands-on role that requires technical expertise and attention to detail. Duties: - Install and configure security systems, including cameras, alarms, and access control systems - Set up computer networks and troubleshoot connectivity issues - Perform system design and layout for optimal functionality - Use hand tools to assemble and install equipment - Conduct field service visits to customer locations for installations and repairs - Provide technical support to customers and address any concerns or questions - Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects - Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and service calls Requirements: - Previous experience as an Installer or in a similar role - Strong knowledge of system design principles and practices - Proficiency in using hand tools for assembly and installation - Familiarity with computer networking concepts and troubleshooting techniques - Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams - Knowledge of locksmithing techniques is a plus - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively Note: This position requires mechanical knowledge as well as basic electrical skills.
